Ya she isnt believeable as Zumo's mother but she is agood actress, mind you zumo is a terrible actress. I had heard Rita has/had cancer in real life, maybe she is only on screen for afew episodes as she is leaving and she will die on screen or they will use it to stop the wedding of connie and Yvonne.

Well it was somwhow pointless having Rita back on screen, she was totally emotionless, she was never a great actress but i certainly never thought she could get worse.

Had the 20 years tribute was on in the background the other day... er, how wrong is it to say I mildly enjoyed it? I'm not sure if it's because my memories are fuzzy now but Fair City had some pretty decent s/ls in its time.

Just watching tonight's episode. See the actress who played Terry Killeen in Glenroe is now Waynes wife from America. Has anybody noticed that Dolores in Fair City has had the same fridge for over fifteen years or more now.

I like Wayne - I'm happy he's back in the show. Wayne's wife though - what are they thinking?!?! Not a bad actress but just so unbelievable as his wife. Good story too - him stealing 50k...

Is Zumo's mum wearing a wig? Coz' in the scenes tonight when she was outside the shop you could see blonde hair at the back (may have been extensions) but she wasn't wearing them in McCoy's.

There seems to be a lot of new characters - Vivienne, the new doctor, the new one at the community centre who's name I forget, Wayne's wife. Maybe these new characters will get rid of half the deadwood that aren't needed anymore and start some fresh storylines. I think more young characters are needed. We need to see more of Mark Halpin and it's great seeing Sean Cassidy too.

Sean Cassidy is a good young actor, the new charactors are nearly all former Glenroe actors though. Yvonne in my book is one the best actresses that fair city every had,fair city do have some brilliant storylines but the acting lets them down. Susan and Damien need to cheer they are so dull, whney and boring i cant stand them.

Im sure Rita is only back to be killed off, i havnt heard any rumours but thats my gut feeling and i also think Paul and Niamh willplay apart in yvonnes baby when it comes aswell.

I think so yeah. They were only back for 5 weeks late last year for Brendan's trial. They kept Bob on though.

Will we be seeing Yvonne and Connie's wedding on-screen? I hope so! I only dip in and out of FC but IIRC the last wedding was the joint one with Gina and Ray and someone else, where Gina died. I'm happy Wayne is back. The show needs a bit of a makeover, get rid of some of the older rubbish characters, and put some younger characters in to be friends with Sean and Mark. They got a new park in Carraigstown, why not a nightclub now? A new family could move in (which is needed), a husband and wife are business partners and open one and they've got three kids, who are 21, 17, and 14 (whos friends with Rachel Brennan). They need to get rid of 7 or 8 characters and have some fresh storylines and new ideas I think.

I think suzanne, damien, barry, leo, cass and cleo should all be axed.

I bet Barry and Vivienne will fall for each other. There's a funny scene with Cass tomorrow when Dolores introduces him to Justine.

I love Justine, wish she'd stick around for a while. A few years preferably.

Cant stand the viviene woman and i hated her in glenroe aswell when she was in it, she over acts every single word, and the way she swags when she walks absolutly grates me. Im expecting Emmet Bergin who played Dick Moran to be the the next glenroe actor to show up in fair city.

The last guy left to pursue a career in music. He .seemed to make an ok start; i'm going to give him a chance although they should really have killed off the character. There is no real point to im in the show

IS the original mark now in a band or doing a solo career? I agree they should have killed him off when he was leaving as mark isnt an imporant charactor, but they must have big plans ahead for the charactor.
