Ive got a weird fault on my BTV service which started friday. both my phone and broadband are working fine (8mb BB) but the vision box wont play and on demand stuff and shows a v04 error. if i try doing a BT speed test it fails on the assured rate test. ive had bt for nearly 18 months and the only previous fault was for an exchange fault.

i logged a fault with BTV support friday and they said the QOS wasnt starting. i just chased them and was told this may take a while to fix.
everything else is working fine and i switched to my old home hub to rule that out as an issue.
has anyone had this before and how long did it take to fix?

just to add, honda tv works fine its just all the on demand stuff

Yes I have had it before. Took them 10 days to sort and a third party IT contractor. BT's own "support" could not fix it.
