I've had an idea.
If you wanted to create CGI aliens, you could use Spore as with the latest patchs you can export to Maya. |

Thats a shame as you sound like you could produce a decent script.
So is anyone else near completion to one of their scripts?

Hi Steven,
I just wondered, what are these episodes going to be for? What’s the point? Is it just for fun, or is there some kind of agenda? If it’s purely for fun, I wonder why you need to have 13 episodes, rather than simply starting with one and seeing how you get along producing it, or why set a limit of 13? And why do your episodes have such specific titles, yet you don’t even care what sort of Doctor features in them. Also, if the Doctor’s personality, or companion, in each episode is up to the individual writer, that could leave you with a lot of casting problems. Wouldn’t it just be easier to lay down a few basic rules, especially to ensure that the 13 episodes come together in any kind of coherent way? Just wondering. It all seems very odd to me. I am an amateur writer, although I don’t think I’d have time to contribute to this project (that is if you haven’t already got all the writers you need anyway). |

The scripts in question are for a Doctor Who series that I plan on filming next year once all the scripts come through. Always been interested in film making after seeing a few fan vids and a friend of mine will be helping me in film making. As for a limit of 13 episodes well that generally how things run these days in 13 episodes a series so I went along with that idea. As for the episode titles I wrote in a earlier well they re just a working title so if a writer feels like changing the title to suit their story id be fine with that. Oh no I havent got all the writers I need yet as Ive pitched some ideas to people interested but havenmt heard back from them. As to the Doctors personallity id tweak it just slightly so that it would make sense. As for a companion well not every episode will have one travelling the whole series so the character can always be changed. Thankyou for your interest and hope in your heart that you would still be interested in writing a story. |

Thats great news. I have access to a couple of life size daleks and CGI wont be a problem as I know people that can do graphics. For the 5 drs story best leave that and daleks separate.
Cazzz are you interested in writing a script? 1. As I live near Cardiff, I would like to use local landmarks. Will your budget stretch to a few weeks filming in the Bay area? 2. I have a friend who has appeared in a few BBC Wales programmes - including Dr Who (he was zapped by a Cyberman), I would like to put him forward for a role in my episode. 3. Can I do a Torchwood crossover plot? I would obviously like to find a John Barrowman lookalike and will take it upon myself to audition suitable candidates, maybe a competition which will start with 10 contestants with one being voted out each week. Any small profits made from the voting could go towards your budget. If you can sanction all of the above then I will certainly give it a go....can you please let me know which titles are left for me to choose from. If there is nothing then maybe you could put me on the reserve list, maybe next year you could do a Children in Need special. |

OP, do you run/work for an actual production company or is this just a side-project you're doing for fun?

Hmmm.
I didn't think i was doing those episodes. I'm doing the two parter with Daleks i think. At least, thats what i've started writing. (and nearly finished the first episode of i might note). But its kinda not the first episodes though, as they are already travelling together. I will send you the episode via email once its done. |
