Hey, fellow Rachel A fans (if there are any )

I think it's time for an appreciation thread for this talented young woman

I absolutely loved her audition last year, when she sang Un-break My Heart. I def hope she gets further this year. I've noticed she was in the Coming Soon section for next week's show.

She definitely has a wicked style and very cool hair

I saw her at the auditions (she wasnt auditioning that day but her friend was and he failed to make it through despite being asked to come back with a different song choice).

I spoke to her saying she should re audition and she looked flattered that I had recognised her - she's a lovley girl

Deff will go further than last year

She got to top 50 last year, so I do hope she gets to judges house this year.

That has to be a good sign, surely I think Diana's was deleted this time last year and she made the live shows

Anyway, i hear she has came back quirkier and better

I liked her last year too Lets hope she is not subjected to the redicule she had last year.

Really really looking forward to hearing Rachel's audition over the weekend. When I saw her audition last year I had the same feeling as when I saw Leona's & Alexandra's. So when she got the boot at boot camp I thought my radar had lost it! Looks like I should have more faith in my radar! After all the very same thing happend with Alexandra. Anyways i'll shut up now.

I think we have very similar tastes I love Leona and Alex (my fave two XF contestants ever) and i loved Rachel (and Joelle) last year too. It must be something to do with black females Although, they do seem to be the talented ones.

Yeah Joelle had bags of potential too. I also liked Rowetta in Series 1 and then Brenda in Series 2! But then Leona & Alex came along and blew the outta the water!
Your right though, there is a definete pattern emerging! But IMO they are the best singers.

I totally agree. I think black singers are generally far better singers than white ones (and i'm white by the way). If you look back in history there are lots of amazing black singers like: Whitney Houston, Arethra Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Toni Braxton and now there is: Alexandra, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Fantasia and all those black female singers on AI/XF. I would also add Beverley Knight and Des'ree to that list.

Back on Topic (), I can't wait for Rachel A as well. I would be kinda annoyed that she has been left to the last show but then again, we need some talent left for the last audition episode. I wouldn't really want Stacey M, Kandy Rain and Rachel on the same episode. I'd rather have them spread out.....i think

I was in bits after Kandy Rain's and Stacey M's audition passed like a flash in the pan.

Rachel (and Siren) weren't shown in the coming soon section though. They were shown last week but not this week

When they were talking about duos I was thinking Siren would be on then and save the day .

I think Rachel will get a good edit though. Hopefully anyway !

Actually if you look closely. when they showed the VT for tomorrow nights show Rachel was the 2nd person they showed. I too was very dissapointed with Stacey M & Kandy Rain's coverage.

Not only that but neither looked all that great either. Which considering the hype they've been getting really shocked me.

We really need to hope Rachel's as good as we think she could be or else we may be looking at the next Shayne Ward in Ethan! (in other words, attractive but not an amazing voice.)

Although I thought Domonic showed alot of potential tonight. His audition wasn't the best but I think if he's given the time to develope he could be brilliant!

Yeah i looked again and she was shown but Siren wasn't Rachel looks a lot quirkier and seems to have a great image.

I think teenage girls would love her if she made the lives. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a fanbase like Diana Vickers (same age and possibly same style)

I've also noticed that when i see clips of her on X Factor (this year and last year), i see a lot of Rihanna in her.

Don't worry. Kandy Rain have apparently gone very far and they were shown shorter. As you have said, i preferred last year's audition where she sang Un-Break My Heart. However, i think it's more to do with the fact that last year it was just her in a room singing accapella.

I still think she was great. I'm worried because on the 'coming up at bootcamp' preview at the end of the show, Simon said something like "You have just let yourself down as an artist..." and then it showed a montage of a few contestants including Rachel (), Stacey S () and others. It doesn't necessarily mean he was talking to them, does it?
