E700 or V500
Hi everyone i need a new phone soon and cant decide which one to get. I know the good and bad points of each phone (well at least i think i do) but need people who use them everyday to help me decide!
Your opinions please Thanks Paul |

Moto 500 is far better value ,looks better and has more features than the samsung and all for £130-£140 PAYG.

I'd say go for the V500 as well.
It's got really good features and looks for the money, and what makes it even better is that you can make it play video clip like the V600 does by flashing and flexing. (It's very easy to do!) |

The Samsung E700 might have the looks, is really small, has an external screen and up to 9MB of memory but nothing else spectacular. I got the Sony Ericsson Z600 instead and I'm glad since it's more feature-packed. The only thing I don't like is that it only has 2MB of space, which isn't enough for me!

I have got a v500, much easier to use than the samsung, less fiddly and more comfortable. Better features too...
External screen is better on the samsung but it turns off after a while. The v500 stays on and is readable in light without the backlight. Much cheaper too... £50 on monthly Orange |

V500 hands down. My mate has an E700 and was playing with it yesterday and it comes no where near the V500 for me.
Plus the lack of bluetooth on the E700 is criminal! |

the e700 has a better camera, has more memory, is smaller and looks pretty damn cool. the moto still looks cool, has a good camera, but has features such as bluetooth that the e700 lacks. plus, its a load cheaper. depends what you're looking for really.

Its personal preference at the end of the day though mate surely? I use bluetooth to transfer ringtones/photos to and from my moto etc which is pretty damn easy and I dont have to be connected up to my laptop to do so. In fact, I dont even have to be in the same room. I think all phones should incorporate bluetooth as standard now, its such a quality feature to have.
Plus, Dan, I find the opposite mate. Much prefer the Moto UI rather than the E700, and I wouldnt say there is too much difference with the camera either. |

Bluetooth is always a missing function on samsungs, but the other functions certainly make up for that tiny oversite.
Talking about pic transfer, irda does the same as bluetooth.no wires needed if you've got irda built into your lappy Not being bias but the e700 IS the coolest looking phone on he market today

IRDA has a short range though, and although the E700 is really cool looking, the V500 is not bad either!
I generally find samsungs lacking in features too! |
