She's good! I love her image as well. Her pictures and videos work well. I was surprised at how well her last single did actually. It's good but I didn't think that many people would take notice of her.

Thank you!!!

I've heard this song a few times - knew that New York was in the lyrics but hadn't caught the name of the artist. Now I know and have just bought it from iTunes

My favourite artist of the year so far and by far the best that has jumped on this 60's soul revival bandwagon since Amy Winehouse started it all. I can feel the soul with Paloma. I love her voice and quirky style. She is fantastic and a lovely funny girl. I love watching her diarys on youtube. She is bloody hilarious

She deserves sooo much more attention than she is getting. New York is a fantastic track, it's currently sitting at number 20 on itunes. Come on guys, lets push it up the charts for her!!!

The wait for her album is killing me! Ive never been soo desperate for a cd release before. This live performance of album track 'Broken Doll' is oustanding!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwmpL8ehETQ

I really do love Paloma!

i didn't like Stone Cold Sober, but i absolutely love this song! i just find it so beautiful and mesmerising. the enchanting intro sets the tone, and the storytelling lyrics of a stolen love in a far away place suit the beautiful music perfectly, it's almost like a fairytale.

Other way around for me.

This sounds to me like something Katie Melua would release - pretty inoffensive easy listening.

fair enough, i know it's not the best of songs, and not usually the sort of music i like, but for some reason it captured my imagination after a few plays. won't work for everyone!

Cannot wait for her album. Deffinatly getting that.

Such an underrated artist. 'New york' is fab and i love the 1st single too.

How great did she look on GMTV? she looked like she was actually from the 40s era!

Unfortunately, Paloma sounds more Adele than Amy Winehouse Quite a nice song though. Hope it does well for her.

She actually reminds me vocally of Laura White.

I thought it's auwful. But that may because of her totally unoriginal look.

She also slots easy into the duffy, amy, sharleen, pixie type of tracks that the UK eat up.

Retro voice..

find it annoying that it's gaining so much airplay. Lot of crap.

Clearly this song is a load of pish. I can't believe there is only one person-Rain, talking sense on this thread.

Paloma Faith is generically pitiful. I think what really makes her stand out from the rest of the generically pitiful female "artists" at the moment are her looks. She is one ugly son of a b***h isn't she?!

What a really nasty, rather wretched comment to make. To stoop soo low as to insult how she looks. Well I happen to think shes beautiful. I can't believe the world we live in today, where everyone is judged for how they look. It's truely pathetic.

And as for her music, shes been doing it for years. Before Amy Winehouse ect got big they all used to go to jazz nights I believe that Paloma herself hosted. It's just taken this long for things to get going for her. Shes a very hardworking, decent person who is making the most charming music at the moment filled with passion, soul and character and I totally love her.

You are aloud to disagree with things but show some respect and dignity with your comments. Thank you.

When Paloma sings "New York, New York" during the chorus she sounds exactly like Nelly Furtado
