Ellie Goulding
The CiD

I've started listening to her a lot recently and she's really good. She's part of the Neon Gold label crew. She's also one of those hyped for 2010.

I really love Wish I Stayed, which was produced by Frankmusik: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0t0De_0gp4

Also like Starry Eyed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ic7ZVALrsY

She's written some material for the Diana Vickers album as well.

Bumping up an old thread as I feel Ellie really deserves more PR

I saw her support Little Boots the other month and loved her. Her songs are catchy and she was brilliant live.

I've just gone and bought her EP off iTunes tonight. Had no idea she had anything up on there till now.

i like her and i hope she does well, she's a great singer and her musicians are excellent but i'm not too sure her style is chart stuff - which is a very sad reflection on the state of the charts today.

only heard the single the other day but it is really good, should be massive but unfortunately if you are not American or on the X Factor nobody wants to know

One to watch for 2010 me thinks. But I still think Ou est Le Swimming Pool may just ahve the final say when it comes to the new decade. The two vocalists have amazing voices capable of making the hairs stand on your neck, it would be great to hear them in a large arena or stadium. The synth arrangements are also very good, whilst they also have a very quirky façade which they bring during interviews such as calling each other Portuguese names. Ellie definitely will be up there though in 2010, so far so good!

I got an email today saying she is doing a tour in March/April, can't wait! She is playing in King Tut's in Glasgow, such a good venue for small gigs.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, fan pre-sale is tomorrow.

Any idea when it's going to be released? I heard her album will be out in March.

Got my ticket to see her at King Tuts, can't wait. I also see she is coming up to Glasgow in March to support the Passion Pit, tempted to get a ticket for that too.

Saw her Live last night in Manchester Supporting Little Boots who was excellent as well.

I was so impressed I have bought a ticket for her Manchester Gig in March though I am working when she is supporting Passion Pit but would prefer to see her next headlining as it were even if its only in the Club Acadomy but cannot wait also.
