Has anybody tried this yet? If so, what's it like?

I've tried their True Match powder and really liked that, but didn't reckon much to the True Match liquid foundation (I'm really pale though and any liquid foundation seems to make me look orange and caked in it ) so I dunno if this is going to be any good for me.

I dont think I'd fancy it, seems a bit gimmicky to me! You can get a great finish from liquids with a foundation brush, and a great finish with Kabuki brushes for mineral foundations.

But I'm usually conned into most gimmicks

Oh they don't do they!? I think I'll pass if so.

Snap.
I'm just being lured in because they make it look so easy with the little roller but it's probably not! Thanks for the tips though, I shall look into getting one of those brushes.

Yup they certainly do and they don't even bother to deny it. I've certainly lost respect for Cheryl Cole after she has agreed to advertise for them. Money over morals eh?

Personally, I think this is one of those gimmicky products which aren't much good. Haven't tried it, but I can't imagine you'd get good results. I also can't imagine rolling that thing over my face! A good old liquid foundation with a good brush or your fingertips would probably give you better results!

I had a look last time I was in Boots and it does seem like a total gimmick! I use Max Factor miracle touch liquid illusion and it seems to be pretty much the same product except it comes with a sponge and not a roller! Think it is a bit cheaper as well. Would recommend it

Yeah think I'll give this one a miss then and stick with my MAC one. I was just suckered in and thought it looked all nice and hassle free.

I think it looks like it would case hassle. Well, for me anyway.. I think I'd lose my rag with that roller thing first thing in the morning

Slightly off topic, but I've just bought Revlon ColorStay foundation after reading good things about it on here and review sites. People seem to rave about it, and say it's like a cheaper version of MAC. I've only used it once so far, but it does seem very good. It was £11 but Boots are doing 3 for 2 at the moment, so got a concealer and eyeliner too. I'd definitely recommend it if you like liquid foundations.

Isn't the point of makeup that you don't want it to look 'trowelled' on - and then they come up with a gimmick that surely is going to look plastered on????

Anyway since discovering mineral foundations I don't think i could ever go back to something like this...
