And now it's four
She has also scored 19 in her first dance of the series four times... the other three though, she went on to get 30 for the second dance!

I posted saying could it be you!

I'm not sure I can stand to be reminded by looking at these amazing stats that Matt Di and Lisa Snowdon hold certain records - it still upsets me too much!

Thanks for doing thus Mike!

I really think that the man is trying to make Alesha seem the best choice for a judge still and that's why he's been introduced.

It was how tonight they could have said the best scoring quickstep ever was, quite rightly, Lisa and Brendan with 40/40 but they had to twist it to fit Alesha by saying it was an average and combining it with their score of 35 first time around giving Alesha a 0.5 advantage.

So looking at the stats getting a 10 in the Passo is slim and getting it this early on makes it almost immpossible in any dance let alone this one

I'm not too bothered about whether or not Alesha should be top for the QS (or any dance really), but I will never accept that Lisa warrants being top for any stats. In fact, I'd say that the scores from SCD 6 will always be regarded as 'tainted' and that they badly skew the stats. The whole series was ludicrous as far as the scores are concerned.

Yep. According to the judges' scores, Lisa has the fourth highest average out of all ninety competitors. As much as I didn't have a problem with her, that's far too high.

It's not just Lisa - the top ten is as follows:

Alesha
Rachel
Zoe (B)
Lisa
Austin
Tom
Emma
Jill
Colin
Mark (R)

That's FOUR from series six...

The worst placing there is Tom I think- no way he was better than Colin or Jill. Lisa's best dances were better than Tom's best I think, but she wasn't enough of an all rounder to be fourth. Alesha and Rachel are pretty defensible as first and second place, but after that it seems a bit skewed in favour of series six.

From what I can see Alesha, Rachel and Zoe seem to be in the right place, either way around doesn't bother me, yet Jill should definatly not be 8. That was completly down to the fact the judges judged properly back then and didn't reach for their 10s for just finishing a routine. I agree with katie that Lisa was better than Tom so deserves to be above him, but seeing as her position on this leader board was greatly inflated by her 120/120 for her last three dances the whole idea of fairness goes to pot. Quite pleased with Emma's place on the leader board too - was a shame that it could have been a three couple final that year aswell.

I think comparing celebs from each series is a tad pointless when we know the marks have risen on each series. It's laughable that some celebs are higher than Jill Halfpenny. Just my opinion but I still this she is the best dancer, despite the stats!

I think her dances are by far the best that have ever appeared on Strictly... but I think you could justify Alesha and Rachel above her on grounds of consistency over ballroom and latin. It's arguable anyway. But I don't think any of the next five were better than Jill- it's just mark inflation.

Thanks for the correction rickster. I confused Zoe's Ballroom and Latin scores when writing that.

I've doublechecked and everything about Zoe's stats etc is correct
