OFcom cracks down on mobile contracts mis-seling
Its about time this was tackled. Not sure how effective this is going to be.

To right! I have never gone for cashbacks because I know they are a con. My friend has a cashback contract he got a letter saying that cannot give him his cashback because they have given out too much cashback that month!

This is good news but it has to be said it's not the mobile networks stores that mis sell it's the so called agents, I would get rid of such outlets but I suppose that would be difficult to do

I work in retail for one of the big networks, it means a little extra paperwork for us for the time being but if it allows customers to make an informed decision and understanding what they are getting into then I am quite happy for this to be happening. Like with other people its about time

There are lots of traps on some agents for mobile phone contract. Cashback is well known traps already, therefore, some agents developed some new tricks. For example, give you a price £30 with label "£5 Discount" aside and explain £10 discount will be applied into your month every directly. Then how much should you pay for this contract every month? Can you guess?
