VH1 Divas in the UK
I was wondering this as it's sure to be a great show. Leona Lewis & Jennifer Hudson are perfection lol. I'm also hoping Whitney will make an appearance.
Even though we have virtually the same music channels as the USA(with some minor exceptions, although, I swear, that we have far more music channels than the USA has!!!) we just dont get the same programming over here as they do in the USA unless its something major like the VMAs or something!!!! But then, years ago, there was a time when we did!! We dont even get the US Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony anymore!!! The last one was in 2003!!!
I have just checked the EPG listings for the VH1 Divas on VH1 and theres no sign of them being broadcast here and I have checked up untill next Thursday!!!
Basically, as with everything else in this country its all a question of money!!!!!!

Adele seems to be getting all the love from the American websites, along with Kelly. Did anyone see her performance?
Mind you, even VH1 Divas now has gone to hell in a handbasket now!!! Years ago, it was a showcase of totally classic female performers, like Carly Simon, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, The Dixie Chicks, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, etc. and even featured people like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, but now its just another excuse to lump all these young upstart no-talent bitches, who basically should be working at MacDonalds, BK or KFC, cos thats all they have the talent for!!!!

But it does seem a bit top-heavy on acts from reality tv shows.
from what I have read, even Stevie Wonder performed at this years VH1 Divas!!!! Isnt VH1 Divas supposed to be a female orientated event???? What the hell is he doing there??????

I agree this years show was a big of a joke, I wont be watching it i'll just check out one or two performances on youtube. I mean I know they wanted to go with the young generartion fine, where was Beyonce, Alicia and Christina etc. Most of the people on the show shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence with the word diva, either because they havent got the talent or because the have only been out all of 5 minutes.
This show is not a joke, Kelly Clarkson is a well established artist who has f*king amazing vocals, as do Leona and Adele so it's hardly a joke. Miley's a joke. It was a very good show par a few people.
