Strange that. Sophie and Jordan both played the dumb blonde and both won. Both hid under the radar for as long as they could and both hid behind the "cute" guy.
I personally thought Kevin deserved it more but Jordan is a lovely girl and her family REALLY needed the money and not to buy clothes for her dog as Sophie is doing.

But Jordan won a strategic game for personal reasons. She is an awful awful winner, see my thread.

Jordan is so stupid she makes Sophie look like a genius. Kevin deserved to win.

Yeah, she claims they are desperate for cash, but she spent 5 grand on boobs. You'd think maybe she would've helped her mom with rent, or bought herself a bed with that money instead.
Still Jordan IS a sweet girl, everyone liked her which is why she wasn't nominated much and never voted out. Sophie is a bitter, vindictive, vicious slug (that's slug as in does nothing not slag). Never heard so much negative crap from a winner of ANYTHING in my life as I have from Sophie. Jordan plans to put a down payment on a house for her family and Sophie plans on buying clothes for her dog. The only comparison is they are both blonde, both dumb (Jordan being the smarter of the two) and both hid behind the "cute" guy. (I use quotes because both Jeff and Kriss were only the cutest of those in the houses not IRL, well neither floats my boat LOL) I'd be a bit saddened (but not much as they aren't my kids) if what you say is true but not surprised. |

I could look it up but if anyone on here could give me bullet points that would mean I could keep being lazy.

Jordan won comps when she needed to so although Jeff undoubtadly (how do you spell that??
) helped her along the way, as she said in the final she got there BY HERSELF with no help by winning the last 2 HOH rounds, so good on her for that.I couldn't stand Natalie so I'm glad she didn't win and I couldn't make my mind up whether Kevin deserved it or not. I would have voted for him over Natalie tho. Overall, wanted Jeff to win as I liked him most. Was nice to see him get the America's choice prize. Michelle was probably the only other I wanted to win but she got booted too ![]() At least Jordan was genuinely sweet and innocent, unlike OUR winner Funny that I ended up with no one to support during BOTH BB finals this year

I could look it up but if anyone on here could give me bullet points that would mean I could keep being lazy. ![]() Each week a person wins Head of Household and nominates two housemates (or houseguests, as they insist on calling them there) for eviction. The other HMs vote. (There is also a power of veto competition which allows the winner to remove one of the nominees, forcing the HOH to put another on the block.) The winner of the final HOH competition chooses which of the two other remaining HMs faces a jury of evicted HMs to decide the winner. So while Kevin was the most deserving winner in the eyes of most people in this thread (and likely the jury as well), he wasn't eligible to win, as the winner of the final HOH didn't pick him to face the jury - which was pretty much the only strategic move she made the whole game. The other one in the final two was far more strategic, but infinitely more dislikable. It is, after all, a social game as well as a strategic one. If you're going to be evil, you need to do it with style - two of the best-known winners were nicknamed "Dr. Evil" and "Evil Dick." |

It's a game of strategy and alliances, similar to Survivor.

The other HM's decide who is evicted each time, or does the public vote as well? |

Thank you, that is helpful. Sounds interesting, I might have a look.
So, just a quick question for clarification. The other HM's decide who is evicted each time, or does the public vote as well? ![]() Actually what happened was that voters repeatedly voted out all but the blandest HMs, even more so than in the UK. Viewers do vote a occasionally during the series, usually on things like choosing which HM should get a prize, or what the people on basic rations should each (food competition are usually between two random teams, in order to better create conflict in the house). One year one of the HMs was designated "America's Player" and some of his actions were controlled by viewer votes. The BB House is more luxurious and far better-looking than the British one. The HMs are generally older (always at least 21 because of U.S. drinking age) and generally better-looking and more muscular than British HMs. You see a lot more of the Dale and Stuart types. The show itself is far more edited (and re-edited) than BB UK, with events often shown out of sequence and generally several days after they happen. There's no live entry into the house. When we see the first episode the HMs have been there several days already, in order to allow the producers to develop story lines and characters. Also, all nudity and swearing is censored. |
