I think they're alright. You could easily dismiss them as throwaway, inoffensive indie rubbish but there's something really charming and enjoyable about their album.
Edith has been plugging them to death on her show for ages, she has the song 'Magnet' as her record of the week for this week, it sounds fairly good to me, and their last song was good as well.
I seen them live at a festival called Summer Sundae in Leicester back in August. They didn't do anything for me, thought they were a dull so I went to see some other bands.
I had already heard of them before then because I think they were already getting some exposure on Radio 1. Clearly that was the case for a lot of people as they got a good crowd gathered but I really felt like that they were nothing special.
This is certainly one time that I don't believe the hype.

I saw them at Reading recently and they didn't do anything for me either but then for some reason I gave them another chance, probably because I liked the song "Always Like This" but then the rest of the songs grew on me after a couple of listens especially "Evening/Morning" and "Lamplight"

Hmmm well maybe I shouldn't sell them short so fast. It's just that also a song of theirs is getting played on Radio 1 and well I think the fact that I couldn't tell you what it was called or sounded like, suggests how little an impression it left on me.
