Panny V10, Could This be purple banding?
Hi
I watched Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull lastnite on one of the HD movie channels. In the last 10 mins I could notice what I think is purple snakes or magenta banding. The first scene is when they r running down the spiral steps and the second scene is where they have taken the crystal skull back and the room starts spinning. Anyone who's watched the film, is this purple banding or it something else or is it just how its been filmed? Thanks Baz |

I assume "purple banding" is some kind of "fault" issue on Panasonic plasmas?
Anyway, I have seen the film in the past and I recall lots of swirling lights at many parts, especially the end "oh no they went with an alien mcguffin!" I think what you are describing is just part of the original image. |

I have just freeze-framed the film at exactly the same point and the blue band is present in the actual image.
It's just an artistic thing the film-makers did. |
