I haeve heard rumours that Holy Willoughby of Xtra factor is a nasty piece of work off camera and that many people have told stories of how horrible she is to them, auditioness, collegues and fans.

Any truth?

She was very moody during the auditions according to some people who posted on here. It wasn't long after she'd had her baby though so that could be the reason.

I always think she comes across well on screeen, it's her mate Fearne Cotton who I've always suspected to be a bit like that.

I love Holly i dount shed put on an act..she is alwayd nice on Xtra Factor DOI and This Morning! I cant see her being the nasty type tbh!

You can tell how nasty she is on the xtra factor to some of the contestants. The ones that have something missing.

Nothing would surprise me.The amount of people in showbiz and on TV who are genuinely 'nice' is probably smaller than you imagine ; for every nice one,there are probably three or four self regarding,arrogant twits who wouldn't give you the time of day if you met them

There's been a lot of negitive comments on what Cilla Black is really like.

ive met holly she as really nice to me......she seems genuine to me

She was lovely about Dannii on Piers Morgan's Life Stories.

She was a bit moody at the auditions. A bit nicer at Boot Camp and really lovely at the Live Show on Saturday... so maybe she has good and bad days like all of us.

Rumours are just that. Anyone can say them. You're not going to get any validation either way from this forum. And if someone did answer you, how would you know they are telling the truth as they could be anyone? It'd still be a rumour.

In the end, you won't get an answer to this one...

I can't imagine Holly being rude or nasty to anyone. She's playful and genuine imo.

Doesn't she spend a lot of time interviewing irritating/creepy weirdos at the auditions? I wouldn't blame her for being moody.

She seems really really patronising. Last year for example when Laura got voted off:
Holly: You got voted off - really wasn't expecting it, are you okay?
Laura: Yeah these things happen.
Holly: But we really didn't expect you do be voted off.
Laura: Mmm I hope I've made people proud though.
5 minutes later...
Holly: You got voted off the X-Factor! Aww are you okay now?
(Err stop reminding her silly woman).

ive heard this many times actually, that her camera persona is quite fake

I know i'm going to be questioned on my "sources" but a friend of my mum's worked with Holly at the BBC a few years back and said she is just like you see on the TV so no I doubt she is nasty.

I just can't stand the high pitched comments she makes like 'it's Danyl's mum' but her voice is really stupid. Obviously put on as she doesn't do it on this morning.

presenters often have to repeat key facts like this on shows, mainly for people who haven't been watching from the start of the programme so they know what's happening/what's happened.
