Ali and Brians dance stood out for me , but the screeching wailing singer put me right off , it was dire
I will watch it again with the sound down
Overall I loved it and am thrilled to have it back

Fairly enjoyable.
Wasn't impressed too much by Alesha.
Bruce is really toe-curling to watch now. Totally apalling.
The music was cool.

I thought it was a brilliant idea to have the pros show dance at the beginning - for me, it was like the producers saying, 'Forget the fuss, this is why you enjoy this show.'

I think we'll get used to Alesha. I didn't think it worked but I never like any of the judges and always find them inane so that was no great difference for me.

Some years I have fallen in love with a pair in show one - nobody had any real sparkle for me last night, but there were no unlikable celebs either. I thought Rav was undermarked and the Eastenders chap overmarked in comparison. Joe I wanted to like, so I really cringed. I thought Ali seemed a sweet girl and I completely agree that she was the best dance last night, but tbh in our house we were all talking about the singing so much - and whether or not to turn it off - we didn't pay much attention to the dance. Overall nobody's really drawn me in yet.

Tonight - rumba and cha cha - is really a recipe for humiliation. Without wanting to bring them bad luck, I can imagine Jade and Ian doing much better tonight and shining. I can't see any of the men doing that well, but I hope they do. So far, I think Joe, Rav or Ricky most likely to go, with Linda getting the sympathy vote, but as most of the voting will be after tonight's dancing, maybe last night doesn't matter that much.
