Joe and Kristina Tango - Music question
Fudd
19-09-2009
Just a quick question about Joe's tango music - to me on first listen (I'm now listening to it back on iplayer), isn't is used for Argentinian Tango rather than Tango? It seemed slower and darker than usual tango music to me.

I'm sure it's been used on Strictly for an Argetine Tango before, but I can't think who.

you are right the tempo was far more agrentine than ballroom tango - all wrong the routine was all wrong and open hold in the middle all wrong - it was just wrong!!!

Quite honestly I wasn't impressed with any of the music choices for the Tangos - they needed to be more dramatic and moody.

Yep. Tempo and lack of choreography made the dance more difficult for him to sell as well.

I've seen it used on DWTS as a ballroom Tango here

But that one was alot faster and had a lot of moves which I associate with the Argentine Tango.
