it was amazing!!!! Aliona is THE most mesmorizing dancer, she is fabulous to watch, I found it hard to watch anyone else! Her and Matt just sizzle on the dance floor

no *hangs head in shame* I saw her outside the stage door but I am extremely shy and a complete idiot and didnt have the courage to go over and say hi - now i am kicking myself repeatidly for not doing so as I am not sure I will get the opportunity again

Oh well I guess we just wait and hope now that Aliona is back in this year's series.

Well now we know, I'm thrilled for Aliona, and hope she has a longer run in the competition this time.

We should get at least 2 appearances from Aliona on ITT as well

its a time of much happiness that Aliona has been asked to return tinged with much sadness at the loss of Matt, Darren, Lilia and Brian (my other favourites)

Hopefully most of those will stay as part of the professional dance group.

I would be very dissapointed if Aliona and Matt don't dance together again this series, I thought they were fabulous.

That seems to be the big question mark. I am assuming it will be either Robin or Artem.

The biggest mystery to me is who will be partnered with young Jared. He is about 5'9" or so.

I actually think Aliona's very likely to be partnering Jared. She's the youngest female pro and has experience in the American style that Jared is used to, and the producers may see an opportunity for more exploration of genres like the hip hop samba.


Kristina has hinted she's partnering Artem, and Robin is a ballroom dancer, so it makes a lot of sense for him to partner Natalie

I had actually thought that might be the case and I wonder how the fans will take to that especially after being partnered with Matt.

If she is partnered with Jared I imagine they will do a west coast swing demo which could be fabulous.

I will definitely miss her and Matt as a partnership (still holding out hope they might do the pro tour together if there is one next year!). But it would be nice to see a proper west coast swing rather than the attempts at it in group dances in the first week or two

I agree. The WCS is an exciting dance to watch if it is done properly and full out. I don't know about popularity in the UK but it is extremely popular in the States. Jared does an iincredible WSC and I would imagine Aliona has been trained in WCS.

I see Aliona has discarded the red hair, and reverted back to being blond again, barely recognisable ,but an infinite improvement.
