I think it's not an improvement at all. I know she used to be blonde, but she really should go back to red before Strictly starts!!

I agree, I love her red hair and hope she dyes it back again - the red dye has only washed out so........fingers crossed!!!

From this dance, the impression I get is that Aliona is the Hip Hopper, and Matt and Aliona both worked out the choreography, with Aliona mainly doing the Hip Hop part.

They were both eliminated very early that year, which gave them time to rehearse it properly and it shows - its one of the best show dances ever on the show, very well choreographed, lit, and rehearsed.

Anyone get the impression that if Aliona is tweeting about going skating and seeing hockey players (presumably ice hockey players) that she is still in the US? (and not back for Strictly like some of the other pros)?

I would imagine that Aliona will do a pro hip hop style with Jared because that boy can hip hop.

i assumed that Aliona was back in the UK, in rehersals with the rest of the pros but after her tweets about watching hockey (presumably ice) I am not so sure

I notice that Aliona has gone back to LA and will be there until Friday. So I guess that means she will not be training with the others this week. She and Artem are both in LA.

That's really quite strange, hope everything's ok for her!

Matt Cutler's doing choreography today, wonder if it's a jive and if he'd maybe dance it with Aliona, then they'd be able to train separately and put it together with the other pros later on.....especially if it's doubtful whether Artem will make it back in time or not...

Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part because I'd love Matt and Aliona to dance together again

Possible Mystical,from the twitter pics Dilly has put up it does seem like Matt is partnerless today ( ie he's choreographing) and yes maybe Aliona should have been there with Artem.........and yes Matt could step in to partner Aliona if Artem dosn't make it back for the launch show.

I havent ventured in here before Im Hannah and I think Aliona is lovely Unfortunately I wasnt lucky enough to meet her on the pro tour due to it being her birthday and so everyone went out for a birthday drink with her after the show But I think she is lovely xxx
