Yes and no.

First weekend there are dances on Friday and Saturday, 7 couples each show. No elimination, no public vote.

Second weekend (9th) all couples dance on the Saturday (ballroom or Latin, whichever they didn't do in week 1), followed by public vote, results show is recorded on Saturday and broadcast on Sunday. No dance-off, lowest combined score from judges' ranking and public ranking goes home. Lowest in public vote in the event of a tie.

Sat/Sun shows for the rest of the series until semi-final, including Blackpool special on 20th November.

Semi-final weekend the shows are Friday and Saturday but no-one's entirely sure how that will work (if no-one pulls out there will still be 5 couples in the competition then, unless there is a surprise double elimination one weekend).

Then the final is 18th December, Saturday show only as usual.

Was Aliona presenting instead of Alex

It was Matt and Alex presenting and they interviewed Ann Windercome and at the end Aliona and Anton joined them.They was a little interview with Aliona were she says that when Matt does a move wrong she tells him to bend off and smacks his bum They are unbelievably cute together
