Aliona is a great new addition to the show. I'm loving her pro partnership with Matt Cutler. They really compliment each other as dancers and highlight each other's strengths. She's very sweet too and always replies to facebook messages.

I'm definitely liking Aliona with Matt. She isn't Nicole but really warming to their partnership.
Sounds like she has her toughest test on Friday........ dancing with Matt in a Cutler choreograhed jive! I think she will do fine! Hope so cos there is not anything better than the king of jive in full flow!! |

I must admit I don't tend to post much in the appreciation threads and only popped in to read the Alesha one (happy there was a postive thread at last!)
Anyway, saw this one and wanted to just add my voice I added Aliona in Twitter along with others just after the line up was announced and she replied immediately in a lovely manner. So I was really pleased to see her dance (because several threads were dissing her credentials prior to the start-up) and I'm thrilled to see her serve this back on a plate! I warmed already to her partnership with Rav and hope to see some really good things come out of it (even if she did end up in the dance off with Mr Cutler!) What I saw, I loved Fiesty dancer with spirit and energy and loved MC's comments about her keeping him on his toes, and the pro dances (medley and girls dance) were top notch. I've just been watching them back again tonight I am another big fan of Nicole and was still slightly disappointed she didn't get asked back, but the Aliona/Matt partnership looks like being quite a consolation prize instead.
