I have really taken to Aliona this series. She's proven what a great teacher and choreographer she is.

Aliona has done very well since she first arrived on the show, although not everyone sees it that way.
There's a reason why the producer gives her good celebs - because Aliona will get results and produce entertaining routines.
All of the pros can do that to some extent, but Aliona is one of the best.

Apart from the tour, I doubt if she will.
She still calls the USA home and so far seems happy to spend her time between SCD over there.

That's a shame. I'm sure an Artem and Aliona tour would be a massive hit!
I popped over from Artem 's page to ask that question, disappointed as I thought there was something in the pipeline with Aliona/Artem. Past and present champs... That would have been fab.
I think Aliona and Artem have similar approaches to choreography and both are very inventive, so they could put together a very entertaining tour. They seem to get on well but both are very strong willed, so they might find it more difficult than it would be for Aliona and Matthew Cutler to put a tour together.
Aliona and Artem are both popular now though, so its about as good a time as they get to do something together.

Whilst I agree with you Fatskia, I do think that at times both A and A go slightly too far out on the choreography. That said congrats to Aliona for reigning in the wacky crazy stuff towards the end of last year. I did think that might be the achilles heel in Harry winning but she saw sense.
That said, Id expect both Artem and Aliona to get average to poor celebs next year. They both need a challenge!

I would love to see them do a tour together - I like them both and think they're a good pro-dancer match (although we didn't see too much of that this series, for obvious reasons

I like variety and she proved that she can rein it in and 'play the game' when she needs to. Strictly would certainly be duller without her

Sounds good Olive. Aliona has tweeted that she has had a lot of fun lately with Artem and Kara so they do get on well socially as well as dancing.
I think they both have something special to offer on choreography and I wish them every success.
