I don't mind as long as it is good feedback. I know we can't all have the same favourite dancer but sometimes I think some of these people are watching the wrong woman. Having said that the threads are a lot more positive now than they were in June.

why on earth do people on this forum have such a problem with Aliona? geez, its one thing after another on the MF - she is damned if she says something and damned if she doesnt!

Personally I see nothing wrong with her speaking her mind, she is only saying what most of us were thinking anyway, it was damn obvious that she was going to get Tony and it was damn obvious that the BBC wanted her out first! They didnt want her in the first place so it must have taken an awful lot of guts for Aliona to say yes knowing that they didnt want her back!

She has said nothing rude or out of place in those articles, she has been nothing but complimentary about Tony and she loved teaching him and dancing with him, that was obvious when they were on the dance floor together

Aliona and Aljaz - sublime! The whole dance was sort of understated; nothing rushed or exaggerated, just perfect dancing.

I'm wondering why nobody has commented on James's article(which was just below Aliona's) about the judges and how much money they get compared to the pro-dances. I bet he won't get into trouble some people seem to be able to say anything and still keep their place.

I'm never sure of the criteria for letting pros go. Aliona is my favourite, but I also couldn't understand why Katya, who started the same time as Aliona, was let go. I don't recall there being a reason why she wasn't kept?

Aliona has had a better run than some, Hayley Holt, Jared etc. I'm still hopeful she is back next year though

It's sneaky the way the papers stick words in like FURIOUS ANGRY LIVID. The mirror did the same when Aliona was not invited back - Aliona said she was shocked and upset - The Mirror said she was FURIOUS.

None of which relate to what Aliona was saying. But if the article was that Aliona knew beforehand that she would be paired with Tony, its not a story that will get printed.

Similarly when she says she was sad and upset at the comments Tony got from the judges after his dances, that again doesn't warrant headlines.

The American Smooth with Aljaz is an example of why they should be keeping her on the show. There are few examples of a dance as good as that when supporting a singing act.
Aliona also happens to be top notch when working with a celeb.

She also is particularly good with a celeb with potential as she has the training skills, the choreography skills and can bring chemistry to her dances which tends to be rare on Strictly. So much chemistry with Matt and Harry that Nicola and Izzy get extra praise from me for supporting and trusting their men so well - but it made the dances live.

Monkseal does a blog about Strictly that varies from funny to very funny.
He takes the **** out of everyone but does it in a funny way so I like it.

Perhaps in recognition that Aliona is one of the real characters of Strictly and will be missed, he has been relatively complimentary (in his own way) about Aliona in his last two Result show reports.

Mid week mini break, she is back and will be in the pro dance

Nice to see Aliona featured a lot (and looking pretty) on the Tessanine. I don't know what that means but it good as far as I'm concerned. I guess its what would have been happening with Natalie.

Hopefully Natalie will be back dancing soon. I guess Natalie will dance with Brendan again then and Aliona will dance with Aljaz.
