totally agree, if you dont have that natural spark or connection (she had it instantly with Matt Baker, it came after her first training session with Harry, Tony and Johnny IMO) when you first meet the it takes a maybe a week or so to actually get to know the person.

It was a little stupid of Gregg to publically say he didnt want to be partnered with Aliona and it was a little daft of her not to show a little more enthusiasm on the Launch Show - having said that, they had little moments on saturday night when they did appear to actually like each other and to be getting along so hopefully this week in the training room they will get to know one another a little better

Well, don't know if you can see this, but from this photo on facebook it looks as if they are getting along fine. However the comments underneath seem to assume otherwise.

Charleston. Hmmm.....a bit unkind

Jennifer and Tim have Waltz, so they may do better this week.

Judy has a CCC and Scott the Tango.

Charleston tends to be high energy and Gregg is closer to Tony than Harry in age and fitness, so it is a tough dance to get.

Hopefully forgetting the routine was a one-off. Charleston style-wise could suit Gregg better than CCC.

See Brendan is touring again in the new year. Anyone know if Aliona is doing it again?

Glad I didn't buy the tickets a few week back. I had a moment of weakness and bought two scd tour tickets ......I am dreading another fun fun fun celebs tour that CRH seems to be planning given his blatant over marking of another Lisa type celeb. I need to find out to get rid of them ASAP.

I am having a major problem with Aliona and Gregg, I do want Aliona to continue in the competion but I want her rid of this odious man. I think of all the lady pros Aliona is the one who can deal with this man, but this does not nake me feel any better.

That's an excellent place to start and finish.

She is very talented and an all round good egg.

I hope she features in a lot of pro dances this year - she was fabulous when featured last year.

It seems a bit slow for a Charleston, but that should suit Gregg.

ooh, I am liking what I see!!

Go Gregg!!!!

such an improvement from his cha cha

as long as his nerves dont get the better of him (and he is getting help for those, bless him) then I think a few people are going to be pleasantly surprised by their charleston

They also seem more relaxed with each other in the training room too

Tonights ITT interview will be good too

Judging by Aliona, Gregg does seem to have been making good progress - which is good to see.

mind you, I liked what I saw in training for their cha cha

it just all went horribly wrong on the live show!

Well Aliona did look gorgeous, and when she is dancing, its understandable to forget what you are there for.

thats true!

Im more convinced it was nerves with Gregg as he did seem ok during training - I cant imagine what its like to step out onto that dance floor knowing that 8 million people are watching you

That all looked surprisingly OK.

Liked Aliona's boots - and this week's costume.

The no underwear really didn't go down well.

I'm starting to think I'm supposed to vote for them this weekend. That says something good about Gregg.

Their Charleston is looking like it might get them into the upper half of the table with the judges.

Groundhog day again?

Got the same score, but I thought it was a bit better than last week. Still seemed to have left a lot of the good stuff in the training room though.

I think Gregg can dance a lot better than we have seen and I did send some votes in.
