The papers got a few small crumbs and did a 'loaves and fishes' with them, but I think Jay, Vincent and Alona are now all on the same 'no crumbs' page.

Aliona always had to be strong, making her way in life often on her own, but since she met Vincent it must be great to have her soulmate supporting her so well.

I thought Aliona looked great on Saturday, in the dance she acted really cool but I have to say as jive outfits go I prefer the little union jack dress from the jive with Matt Baker

I just love the extras she puts in. The way she plays with her straw when they're being announced and how she had Jay rub his forehead in despair when she asks him to dance.

I totally agree.

Having watched her on Strictly for years, all the little details which were packed into the choreography made the dance so perfect.

The hitching of his trousers, fingers to his cheek, the clap they both do as they change to Misirlou, and even the bit she mentioned on ITT - that she drills it into Jay to focus and get the dance right and don't enjoy it until near the end. The little look they had toward each other at the end when he raised his eyebrows to her to say 'We got this!' was one of my favourite bits.

Oh yeah. He totally sneaked in a couple of moments of enjoyment before that too, like when the crowd roared when they went into Misirlou. Hope he doesn't get in trouble 😂😂

Nice to see Vincent and Anita supporting Aliona and Jay they must be very pleased with that dance

I see they are starting to pair up Gleb and Aliona in the pro dances.

From his choreography, I'm starting to get the impression they could maybe get on the same page and produce a good pro dance together.

Yes, she is doing an amazing job with Jay . He is my favorite celebrity partner she EVER had and the BEST she had chemistry with IMO. I hope they win. I want her to make Strictly's history by becoming the 1st pro to win twice

Aliona is doing everything to make this a winning year.

It means she is not doing all the quirky stuff that I also love, but it shows that if she wants to play it for the judges, she can easily do it - like she did in the latter stages with Harry.

Lovely recognition for Aliona from Darren saying the Jive was an excellent piece of choreography.

Nice of Darren to point that out - he's an excellent choreographer himself.

This year, Aliona has shown herself to be totally competent in every aspect of Strictly. She always has been able to do it all.

It should be very clear to the producer that Aliona can do it all, and IMO in the past, Aliona has been the one that the producer feels is the most capable of handling difficult situations.
A bit like....
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find her, maybe you can hire... the A-Girl.

She is very talented at the job, but might get a few years of early exits.
She has shown her choreographic skills, and the show could do with a big improvement in the choreography, so could she work in a choreographing role?
