😭😭😭 hope we see her dance at the start of next years show with Jay, then they can give her a nice farewell
I loved it atNottingham when she said it was her last strictly and last tour, she got a proper "ohhhhhhhh" from the audience |

Jay got the crowd using their phone lights for her last dance tonight.
So far as I've heard, there doesn't seem to have been any other marking of the occasion, eg flowers. Maybe she didn't want anything? |

Know what you mean, Ano
I do tend towards the operatic on these occasions.....I don't think you can praise people like Aliona enough for the joy they give .....

Jay asked the audience to light up their phones for Aliona's last dance. Sweet guy - great picture.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CbNwy0yW0AAh-So.jpg:large I know she's thinking of other things now but I've still got my fingers crossed that she doesn't disappear from dance entirely- she's too good! |

Does anyone think there is any chance of a Jaliona tour, however small?
Does anyone know if she has any performing plans? She has only retired from Strictly as far as I am aware. |

I don't think there is any chance of a Jaliona Tour, because Aliona wants to have a family now. She is young enough to also get into choreography, teaching, maybe judging in the future, and I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to work as well as be a mum.
![]() No, your probably right. Was just wishful thinking

Just been looking back at my favourite Series - Series 8, with Aliona and Matt Baker.
It was a Series where they introduced props, no dance off, redesigned Studio and lost a bit of the 'Strictly' about how dances should be done. One of Aliona's strengths is that she has competed in all 10 dances and can teach all of them to a very high level, and she still stuck to teaching proper technique and always has. Matt was an unknown to me, but by the end of the Series he became (and still is), the man I rate as the most impressive celeb on Strictly - for his honesty, trustworthiness, humour, hard work, patience, manners, principles, fortitude... I could go on, but I basically can't see a fault with him. There were many characters and partnerships which made the Series so good. Kara and Artem - had a friendly rivalry throughout the series with Matt and Aliona, and Kara is still arguably the celeb with the greatest natural aptitude for dancing, and the one with the highest potential to be a pro dancer. Pamela and James - Pamela showed that if you are good enough, you are young enough, and their partnership was very entertaining. Katya and Gavin - another pairing that were hilarious and interesting. Scott and Natalie - started off very strong, but Scott's heavy workload at Eastenders contributed to them fading at the end. Anton and Ann Widdicombe - it's difficult to find the words.... ![]() Aliona and Matt had to tackle so many things - travelling around the UK, Matt working long hours on BBC programs, illness and injury, but they still drove on flat out and had an absolute blast. First training - bringing out the 'sexy animal' in Matt. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehY4LU4r4Wk Last training - emotional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyrmYb68WIU Last ITT - shows a lot of why I love this Series the most. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd72RwXbxAE |

Valentine's weekend trip to Bruge.
Slightly beery-eyed photos - they look like they would sleep well that night. ![]() https://twitter.com/AlionaVilani/sta...50261170606080 |

Michael and Patsy Pattie are still fundraising for charity with a Strictly theme.
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/lo...WXMwfhhh0Lm.97 Meningitis is back in the headlines at the moment, because although the Government have now started to vaccinate against Meningitis B (Which Michael has campaigned for tirelessly for many years) it is done on a 'cost effective' basis to babies under 1 year old. Financially the numbers work, but the cost on one side is a lot more than money, and as can be seen, Meningitis B is a very fast acting virus and deadly. Michael was able to get the message across to a wider audience when on the People's Strictly, dancing with Aliona. http://i1.dailyrecord.co.uk/incoming...JS57830695.jpg |

Harry and Izzy with their daughter. Quite an achievement - but all is well.

Well Aliona tweeted a while ago about Sports Relief and so did Jay. I hope it's something special like she did after winning with Harry. But no other news makes me think they're just making the numbers up. I hope I'm wrong!

Thought Aliona's underwater dance with Harry was magical and I still watch it now. I liked Chelsee and Pasha's underwater dance a lot, it was very good indeed - and Chelsee was very brave as she was so afraid - but it didn't have quite the same magic as Aliona's choreography and grace ![]() Anyway, fingers crossed they do 'something special'. If Aliona can choreograph that wonderful underwater dance in just 3 days there's hope.

Could Aliona be back on SCD 2016, but not with a celebrity partner?
Could she even do a tour of some sort? Seems to be lots of rumours out there! |

Could she even do a tour of some sort? Seems to be lots of rumours out there! I can't see how pregnancy and dancing could work, so it depends on whether having a family is still the first option. What has changed since Aliona and Vincent decided to have a family? Aliona has won for a second time, has had a lot of publicity and is probably more famous now and more popular than ever. I do think she will probably want to be a working mum so there would be logic in trying to make use of her current popularity. Then again, the current information seems a bit tenuous IMO - about a stage show. |
