I stuck with it all the way through, but

For me, its just the same old, same old.... Linda's going to be the 'John Sergent fall guy'... etc etc. I really wish I could get my enthusiasm back, I used to LOVE SCD, organised my Saturdays around it and never missed Claudia during the week. I feel now, that there is a big chunk of my TV build up to Christmas missing

I think last nights show didn't have any real excitement because there was no public vote OR dance-off, so tonights show will be much more exciting.

Also, the fact that it was a Friday night, gave the show a different atmosphere, so again, tonight it should be better.

Personlly, I enjoyed last nights show

I always feel like that but it will change when personalities develop and we get to know who the best dancers are.

I think that much of the lack of excitement was down to it being a new set of people, some of whom we didn't know at all, coupled with it not being a Saturday (which gives it a different feel).

Yes, I think you may be right. Need to give it a bit more time. But definitely felt underwhelmed last night. Hard to please, aren't we!!!

I don't think they should have all ballroom to start - needs a bit of jazz

To be fair, I think they've chosen the particular dances well in order to keep the same feel that we've had variety. Waltz is quintessentially ballroom, and tango is the most "latin" of the ballrooms. Tomorrow, we have a quick cha cha and a slow rhumba - they've thought it out.

I agree that it needed a bit of latin last night........but the good news is ITS ALL LATIN TONIGHT so that should be lots and lots of fun and disaster all at the same time.

I've never really believed in the whole 'latin is better to watch than ballroom' thing. They've both got their pros and cons. I'd rather watch a quickstep, AS or tango before a rumba any day!

I thought last night's show was a return to form after last year. Much better atmosphere all round. Of course, it's hard to get really into it until everyone hits there stride and the competition hots up. That was the massive mistake in having the 4 weeks of split last year - it took ages to get going! At least we've only got that for two weeks this time. And I think having them do the two dances each helps immensely.
