Based on Friday Show, who's bottom two tonight?
I know we haven't seen their latin yet.
But who do you think would be bottom two (combined judges scores and public votes) and who would be voted out and why? This is just a game, so don't take it too seriously. ![]() I think the second from bottom two from the leaderboard would be in danger of being the bottom two tonight. On the contrary, the guy at the very bottom of the leaderboard would almost always be saved from the dance off. So I would say the second and third from the bottom of the leaderboard would be in danger. So I venture to guess that Rav would do a better scored latin tonight, putting him at the 6th position in the leaderboard. Lynda would struggle in her latin and maybe scored badly this time round, but combined score put her second from the bottom. Joe would be too distraught from his really bad performance on Friday and he would be too nervous to do anything about his cha-cha, so he would probably be at the rock bottom of the leaderboard, thus ironically be saved by the public. So Rav and Lynda, and the judges would go on about saving the one with more potential and go for Rav, but not unanimous just to give Lynda a softer blow. Then forumites would cry in unison: Ageism!

Well thre is not much between her and Ricky Groves - and with Ricky having the cha cha and one point to overcome I would say that Raicky could overhaul her and finish collectively 4th overall. It depends on how Lynda and Rav do as to where Martina will finish - it could be fifth -sevnth
At a guess thisis what I think the leaderboard will look like after tonights latin round 1. Ali & Brian 2. Jade & Ian 3. Chris & Ola 4. Ricky & Erin 5. Martina & Matthew 6. Rav & Aliona 7. Lynda & Darren 8. Joe & Kristina |

I would have thought Joe is a certainty. I can't imagine he has a big female following, and don't really know why he was the bookies ante-post favourite ?
Lynda is very popular, I think the public vote will save her. Ricky Groves..can't see him pulling it off in latin, whereas I think Rav will get his act together. So, Joe and Ricky for the dance-off. Joe to go..enormous surprise. |

I think the bottom two will be Ricky and Rav/Martina (I can't predict whether the Matthew-fanbase or the hot-guy-fanbase is stronger :P), with Ricky leaving. Which makes me sad because I love Erin...

Do we know what latin everyone's dancing yet? I seem to remember Rav was stuck with tango/rhumba which seems a difficult first week to me!
It's really going to depend on what latin they have - Ali's waltz was lovely but she might be rubbish with high-tempo latins. However, if people dance roughly the same as they did last night, then... yeah, I agree with you, SCD-O, Joe'll escape the bottom two for being bottom, and Lynda and Rav'll be dancing again. With regards to latin, I worry that Jade looked uncomfortable out of hold, so she could struggle tonight. But what's great about Strictly is that it's unpredictable in some ways - Ali's waltz was lovely, but who's to say what she'd be like with a jive? |

OK - this is how I think the points will be divied up.
1. Ali & Brian 8 + 3 = 11 2. Jade & Ian 7 + 2 = 9 3. Chris & Ola 6 + 4 = 10 4. Ricky & Erin 5 + 5 = 10 5. Martina & Matthew 4 + 1 = 5 6. Rav & Aliona 3 + 7 = 10 7. Lynda & Darren 2 + 8 = 10 8. Joe & Kristina 1 + 6 = 7 Martina and Joe in the dance off |

Just on what I saw last night, Rev and Joe would be my bottom two.

Somehow I thought Rav would be cha-cha-ing tonight, which may explain his torn trousers (can't imagine why he should tear is trousers repeatedly in a tango or rhumba). |

Very surprised people think Martina will be anywhere near the dance off. She looked quite elegant and graceful on the floor last night despite the mistakes in form and so I'm guessing she'll take that into rumba. (Matt will blatantly go for an emotional rather than sexy rumba and he will probably choreograph very cleverly). She also looked good at turns in rehearsal footage which is a key part of making a dance like rumba look good.
If she's a little less nervous tonight, I think she'll be in the top half of the table and nowhere near the dance off. Even with nerves I can't see her slipping into the bottom two. I'd be more worried for Martina if she had Cha Cha Cha. |

I really like the revamped start of SCD, where celebs had a chance to dabble in latin and ballroom. Really would show them up more and makes everything more unpredictable, thus more interesting/exciting.

It's possible Aliona's given him a bit of training for a few of the dances he'll have to do. |

However if Joe was to get the full eight points from the public then he's escape the dance off - and that could land Jade in it

Oh, no, sorry, that was just an example, she'll be cha-cha/rhumba with everyone else...

Martina - rumba Lynda - cha cha Joe - ? Maybe Jade and Ricky then? I love Ian but I can't seem to warm to Jade at all - I can't imagine she has a big fanbase a la Joe/Lynda to save her from the bottom two. But then she'll probably be brilliant at the cha cha. I really don't know! |

I think this is far to close to call without seeing the Latin
I think Ali and Brian will bo OK they will have to stuff up royally to be in any danger I think. I dont know about Rav and Joe I am worried they will be like rabbits in the headlights after last night. Joe will have the vote from people who vote because they are Welsh, Scottish, from my home region etc. sticking my neck out........Rav V Martina |

Joe would be saved, but I don't think he'll be top of the public vote, unless he pulled his cha-cha off really well, which, going by his tango performance, is very, very unlikely... |

![]() Ali will be top scorer again as women tend to do rhumba well in the beginning if they have some potential and judging by her waltz, she has LOTS of potential! |

I won't be convinced Chris is through until his name is called out because I really am not sure whether he has public support.
I think Martina could be in trouble. She didn't come across well last night to me, she stil seemed a bit of a madam as my mother would say ... Matt didn't looked too attached to her either. x x x x x |
