I'm not too sure but I think Ricky G may go home because I can't see him being good at latin. I don't mind being proven wrong though as Erin's my favourite
I think its not 100% sure: Rav and Aliona = Rumba Ricky and Erin = Cha Cha Chris and Ola = Rumba Jade and Ian = Cha Cha Martina and Matthew = Rumba Lynda and Darren = Cha Cha Ali and Brian = Rumba Joe and Kristina = Cha Cha |

![]() I think the Friday-Saturday-night-ballroom-latin combo beginning is a very good revamp!

I personally feel that Jade is going to top the Latin leader board tonight with a big lead. I've seen the rehearsal footage and to me she seemed to dance the best first week Latin I've ever seen in all the series of SCD.

So I won't be surprised if the top two would be Ali and Jade. But since Chris' doing rhumba, he'll be in the middle of the leaderboard at best, and may thus be in the danger zone. If so, if he's in the dance-off, he'll have his tango to see him through.

This is lke throwing darts at an epileptic fly, but anyway:-
Public vote - no idea. Jade had to learn a Cha Cha routine last year, to dance for charity, and I think she will love dancing the latin dances so she will kill it. Chris - He has to work the hips and arms, so no clues from the Tango, but with his attitude and Ola dancing round him, I think he will be the best of the men in the Rumba. Joe - needs a miracle, or a hypnotist. Martina - Rumba will be difficult. Her arms looked OK in the Waltz, but I dont know if she will throw herself into it and work her hips. Maybe it will be easier to act lustful because its Matthew. Lynda - good actress, would have maybe liked the Rumba better, but she can dance and will do a good Cha Cha. Ricky - I think he will struggle, but he could surprise me. My impression is that he never took to the dancing part of his acting training, but he actually could get the hang of it. Rav - Will look impressive and give it his all. Having Aliona to dance with will help, and he seems to be able to use his arms, but can he work his hips? (Tip for Rav, not just side to side, you stir them in a figure 8) Ali - Can dance, easy. |

But his tango was all over the place and he looked almost violent in some of his dance steps. Can't imagine how he's going to cope with Rhumba, which is always a difficult for a male dancer to pull off, even if the male dancer has a lot of dancing potential (e.g. Ramps, Austin, even Gethin). |

Its either Lynda, Rav, Ricky or Joe in the last
But i dont think Rav or Joe will be, as far as i can see the public likes them, i dont know what they see in Rav but i think seeing as Joe is really popular i dont see him going |

Jade seemed to confirm by earlier prediction, she's more like Gabby and Denise in that she would be competitive and really trained hard, but there is this 'hard' edge to her that may not endear her well with the public.
![]() I didn't warm to Gabby but I didn't mind her, and she was technically very good. And I was rooting for Denise to win! As much as I love Ian, I just think Jade will grate a little bit... But early days yet!

I agree. I think she looks like she doesn't take criticism very well?

Gabby was quite pertulent in her first dance (QS) and she didn't seem to take the judges comments in her chin too. And I think that killed her public support utterly.

However if Joe was to get the full eight points from the public then he's escape the dance off - and that could land Jade in it
I have danced at weddings better than his effort last night..and believe me, you wouldn't want to see it.

I can't see where this support for Joe is going to come form ? I'm a boxing fan, so I admire his achievements, but do you think he will get the female vote. I guess he's a good looking guy (I'm not really in a position to judge)..but does he actually "do it" for the ladies ?

The bottom two will have little to do with the worst two dancers. It will be two from the bottom half of the leader board that are not as well "known" by the British public (i.e. not in our living rooms that much of late) and who are seen to have not much of a personality. I think Martina will be in trouble - not becuase her dancing was that bad but because she isn't known as a personality, and not much of her personality came through last night. Along with her I think it will be either Rav or Jade. Always difficult to predict in week one though.

Have you never been to Wales? The man is a national hero here and BBC Wales news have been hyping up his appearance on Strictly for weeks, when he fights fans travel all over the world to see him. He has a massive fanbase.

In some regards I quite agree with some.
To my mind in the bottom two could be Lynda and Joe. Could be wrong. |

If so, if he's in the dance-off, he'll have his tango to see him through.
