Strange one this
Someone might be able to answer it though.
I have a Nokia 5800 on O2 and have recently noticed that underneath the signal bar underneath the 3g symbol I used to have two lines with arrows on them, they have recently disappeared though, anyone know a reason for this? They are the lines that go solid when you make or receive a text, or make a packet data connection. Can anybody check if they have the same thing happening? Thanks |

The lines go solid for me when I have an active GPRS or Orange Internet connection. When on the Home Screen and I hold down the Red button, I have the option to cancel any active connections ("End packet data connection "Orange Internet?") . This then makes both the lines dissapear and the 3.5G/3G/2G sign is the only thing that shows.
The manual that came with the phone / on the CD lists all the different symbols that appear if I remember correctly. |
