When the judges comment on there being chemistry between a pair of dancers I just wandered what this is.
Niaive perhaps, but I would read it to mean that there is potential romance, they make a sexy couple or somesuch because I can't decide what else this could mean.
I also don't think it is something you can fabricate or is it ? Do you have chemistry whether you try to or not and can you create it if it isn't there in the beginning ?
Can someone else enlighten me or give me another interpretation of "chemistry" in a dancing couple context ?

IMO, two couples with good chemistry were Alesha and Matthew and Tom and Camilla. I think it contributed towards them winning.
you could see they were focusing so hard on getting the steps right and forgot about performance.
