Sorry if this has already been mentioned - but has tonigts show been pre-recorded, and therefore not live

I am sure that I read this somewhere - does anyone know?
Thanks

Impossible. They have phone-in voting tonight.

It has to be live.

While I can understand if they film Friday show before showing it.

I presumed bits of last night's show would have been recorded by after the camera mishap after the pro dance I changed my mind .

Thank you - that makes sense, I remember where I read it now (in The Mail so that might explain it!!!).

It said that 'part of the opening show went out live last night while viewers will see the rest of it tonight in a pre-recorded section' -

which seems very odd!

Nope, definitely all live.

Two reasons:

- After the show last night, there simply wouldn't have been time to record another couple of hours.

- The voting is being done tonight!

As an opening show it seemed rather a mish mash,
very poor camera work and cutting shots.
The dancing seemed to lack the style of previous years
and did not come to life until Brian and Ali came on are they
the new champions.
