Hi all,

Apologies for starting another iPhone thread. I just want some quick advice.

I'm hoping to get an iPhone for Christmas, especially as my current contract runs out in January (on T-Mobile). I don't want it on PAYG, so contract it is... am I right in thinking the cheapest tariff for the iPhone 3G S (16 GB) on a 24month contract would be £34.26 + £87.11 for the phone itself..?

Plus, I'd more than likely need to add a text bolt-on to that, which is an extra £7.50, I think?

Is this the cheapest way of going about it, or is there any other option?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, but I can't afford to pay (or rather, the person who is considering getting me one for Christmas can't afford it) the amount it costs on PAYG.

Well if one thing the last 12months should have taught us is "cant afford" means we should not be buying.

Which is exactly why I won't be getting it on PAYG, which I thought I made clear in my original post.
