The show is back as on saturdays to beat the x factor in the ratings, nothing to do with what an few posters on an messageboard.I would rather have Fiona Phillips on the panel before Karen

I noticed that the group dance was being taught by Shirley Ballas, formerly Stopford, what a wonderful judge she would make with all her years of dancing and judging experience. Oh no, she won't do, she's not in her twenties and knows a lot about dance technique

She trains competitive couples and spends a lot of time training the current world no.2s - Riccardo and Yulia. With international judging commitments on top of that, I don't think she would do it.

Shame though. As you say, she would be excellent. Lovely woman (when not in choreographer boot camp mode) and even more qualified to do it than Arlene is!

She trained them as dancers, but Julianne and Derek also lived with the Ballas family in England for many years when they were younger. So I suppose she was a mother figure as well. Julianne and Mark competed together. They won the youth championships at Blackpool before retiring from competing. They went on to be very successful in DWTS, but was such a waste of talent and training imo! They could have stormed up the amateur ranks and gone on to become top latin pros. Each to their own though

Married to Sammy Stopford at the time, Shirley won the Blackpool latin championship in 1983 with Sammy.

Are there any pro dancers married to pro dancers but partner someone other than the spouse?

Strictly pro dancers have mentioned, if they spend all the working day with the spouse, then go home with the spouse, they have nothing to talk about. It would be like working with your wife in the office, lol. Pros and cons.
