Will O2 negotiate a contract deal for the IPhone 3gs?
hi,
I really want to get an IPhone 3gs 16gb. I have looked at the current contract deals available on O2 via various websites and none of them would be good for me as i hardly ever make calls and just prefer to text. I can only afford £20 a month at max and was wondering if anyone knew whether if i went into an O2 store and spoke to them about this whether they would be able to alter it so i have more texts and hardly any minutes for somewhere in my price braket. I dont want to get the phone on PAYG because it ends up getting ridiculously expensive to text. REALLY NEED YOUR HELP AS IM CLUELESS!! ![]() thanks xx

There's no other way of doing it for £20/month, and even this way is going to cost because you have to buy an iPhone outright, and they can't be cheap. |

For £15, o2 are doing unlimited texts and unlimited internet to match t-mobiles £10 unlimited texts. Nothing wrong with that?? Or if you just want to text, its £10 to text unlimited. |

My mate went into Carphone Warehouse to upgrade his o2 contract because they have the phone he wants (o2 doesn't).
CPW said o2 won't let him do it for 4 weeks through them. He's wondering now if o2 will be calling him before this to do an upgrade over the phone. He's thinking about going for a popular phone if they do, flog it on ebay and buying the phone he wants from CPW out right with the money he makes. Any advice? |

No I guess no such contract deal till now. Well you can try out the online deals from other network providers. O2 has its own perspectives regarding its contract deals. Well yes there are some of the deals with O2 that offers really amazing plans but I guess you can try out other network providers too. Why iPhone 3gs there are other too as HTC desire deals., Samsung monte s deals , Nokia 6700 contract deals and many more. Buying a subscribed phone is good but with limitations too so never make haste.

Buy the phone outright from apple then use a payg sim from giffgaff.
It's on the O2 network as its owned by O2 and you get 250min, unlimited text and unlimited data for £10 a month. |
