When I bought mine 3 weeks ago there were no deals of any kind to be had, prices were fixed accross all stores.
I had three months left on an 18 month contract and had to pay every penny of it off (even though they would have let me upgrade for nothing after only another 2 months). On top of that I had to pay about £86 for the 3gs handset. That cost was the same in every shop I went into. You can get the 3g for free, but 02 wont let you take up that offer if you have to pay some of an old contract off, though they couldn't explain why. I can only think it is to force you into going for the more expensive phone that you have to pay £86 for. |

Why the new thread, could this not have gone in your first one. Your not going to get an iPhone cheaper than the price list and your not going to ne able to negotiate the tariff.
Sometimes things in life are beyond our means, deal with it and get a device you can afford. I want a ferrari but drives around in a kia |

So basically you had one of the O2 Shop Staffs Friends and Fam discount (of which they get 20). The store being the one in the Dome with the O2 arena

Unless you work for Apple or O2 then I don't think you will have any chance of getting money off the iPhone 3GS. You can probably get a small discount off the PAYG model in the Apple Store if you use an education discount, I know Orange employees get discounts at Apple as well.
