She did look like she might be sick but actually did a good job. I'd say she'll be great if she can lose the nerves.

I commented at the time that she'd look so much better if she wasn't physically trembling so much.

She needs to get over her nerves quickly.

I agree, and I think she'll find the latin dances especially hard if she doesn't.

I agree, and I thought she was way overmarked for the Rumba.

I thought Heather was worse! I wonder what it is about Brian that brings this out in his partners? Maybe he's so lovely the girls don't want to let him down.

Louisa Lytton was a complete wreck on her first night, she's was as white as a sheet, but she didn't do bad in the end

Bless her! She looked so dainty and fragile - I think once her confidence grows she will be fine

Not as frightened as Joe was last night

Did anyone find her ever so slightly over-hyped tonight?

Don't get me wrong, she was good, but her Rhumba looked quite messy to me. Lots of wobbles and it wasn't very 'believable.'

Lisa was pretty bad at the beggining last year and I remember Zoe shaking from head to toe when she did her tango.

I thought she was very nervous but still performed well!

I agree with this - she was better last night. I thought there were at least 2 others that were better tonight. But there is always a judges favourite - they see something that I don't.
Of course it didn't help that she was so frightened.
Although remember Julian - I think he was actually sick!

I'm glad I'm not alone.

I thought Ali was outstanding last night but her Rhumba did little for me.

We've seen better early on in previous series and indeed tonight.

Yes. Well over-hyped.

Her rumba was nothing special - she stumbled a couple of times, and as we've said she looked petrified thoughout.

Poor Louisa, yes! And Ramps, bless him, was all but dragged onto the floor by Karen still clinging to the curtain...

It always works against the celeb, pretty female ones anyway. The judges never learn.

Oh not this again Veri!

That Ali is female and pretty has no bearing on my views.

I supported Rachel last year, Alesha the year before and Louisa the time before that and all three fell into this category as well.

People should be able to express criticisms without the gender and attractiveness of the celebrity in question being brought up time and time again.

Who said it had any bearing on your views?

It certainly does affect many people, though, and that's often been evident in this forum and elsewhere, when the judges seem to be over-praising.

Then I am surprised you don't recognise the phenomenon. It was very noticeable with Rachel.

People should be able to comment on the effect that the judges' comments have on viewers, even when it varies with the gender or attractiveness of the celebs in question.
