Never, Ever Seen SCD Until This Evening...

I'm only watching it in between Merlin and X Factor but, my god, what on earth do people see in it?

You get to see the dancers progress over the course of the series!

Fair enough Just curious as it's not something that appeals to me. Catty judges, z-leb contestants, etc. I used to quite enjoy Come Dancing with Angela Ripon and David Jacobs.

P.S I hate anything with so-called 'celebrities' cooking, eating, walking, farting, sleeping, etc. etc.

Thats fair enough, but why do you feel the need to come in here and slag it off?

Entitled to your opinion but please get out of our forum if you don't like it. It's not for people who don't like the programme.

In its defence, it's usually better than this

Trust me they do get better.....I must admit I did`t bother with the first few weeks last year...it was cringeworthy at times.....But after a month or so you can really begin to see an improvement in the over-all standard.....and as a rule the last 7 or 8 are pretty decent.......the final 4/5 are usually very impressive.....It`s not like the x-factor were the final 12 are all there on merit....and the improvement(if any) during the live shows is barely noticeable...We hate to use the "J" word on this forum...but if we`re honest SCD is a journey for all those competitors who progress, because you really do see a huge improvement as the weeks pass.

Thanks for your honest answer (rather than the rude reply given by the poster above). I was just interested in why people liked it! I hope you continue to enjoy

Coincidently, first time I've clicked a thread in here and wow! it's pink. That's cool.

Friday's ep was the first time I have ever watched SCD as well. I wanted to see Martina Hingis.

To be honest I CAN see how addictive it could become. So, although I wanted to see Martina it was a blessing in disguise that she was voted off. Now I won't get caught up in it all for weeks and weeks.

Hopefully it will be a good series this year and enjoyed by all the fans.

Not that any one will worry but I shall not be watching any more of this series,

switched off after 10 dreadful minuets tonight

It was initially a really brilliant show, for those of us who enjoyed watching people progress in all kinds of ballroom dance routines

but it has become a show more about the presenters/judges, than how a group of different people learned to perform the art of dance ,at competition level

Celebrity Farting. I can see that catching on.

The X factor sent me to sleep. Dx Not good, especially seeing as I'm youthful.

Ah. I think I see why you didn't like it. They were actually dancing the Cha Cha Cha and Rhumba last night. Maybe you'll be lucky and get a Minuet as the group dance next week?
