The voters don't often vote for overseas personalities - it may be a generational thing and a sign of how old many voters are. There isn't much of a Tennis or Swiss vote. Joe has a big sports vote, did well on BBC sports personality, and has the looks plus an enormous Welsh vote. Lynda has a BBC vote but also a loose women ITV vote which was enough to keep the dire Colleen in DOI for months past her fall over date.
They seem to have a shortage of decent males and a bunch of girls who are better than most of the males behind Ali so perhaps they thought Rav was less expendable?
I agree Martina was better than Rav and had more potential. Bruno is usually more dependable and would like what Martina was doing actingwise so I agree it looks like some sort of fix.
