It is about the dancing though, rather than a list of past achievements.

Big mistake, some very unhappy suits at the Beeb methinks.

I am so gutted and tonight the "ever the optimist" face has well and truely slipped.

Sorry but how could the scores and comments change so much in the dance off.

As a point of discussion, should the dance off decision be on who has improved the most from earlier, or who is the best dance out of the two competitors?

I always thought is was the latter, but tonight Len's decison was clearly the former.

We are voting on the dancing not what they are famous for.

I think it's a shame she's gone so soon, but I don't think the suits will be that upset. I couldn't see the GB public taking her to their hearts. She wouldn't have lasted long.

Its an entertainment show in a deliberately orchestrated ratings battle with ITV and she is the biggest name in it

Strictly stupid decision, Martina was better in the dance off than Rav, and lets be honest, there was worse dancers than the pair of them that should have gone home early!

If they'd done a line dance, Martina would have sailed through. I've heard she's good at doing a line.................................

I had a feeling it'd be a close one.

Rav did improve and I think he's putting his all into the performance although it's clear his technique needs a lot of work.

Martina was okay on performance but she looked a little 'false', and okay on technique but there were some glaring faults.

Tough call in the end and it is sad to lose Matt but then I see a lot of potential in Rav too.

Basically, it should have been Joe

I'd say that Joe was the most well known of the contestants. To the British public anyway.

Why are people turning the public's stupid voting decision into nasty comments about Rav?

No what I meant is that if the OP was saying that Martina should have stayed because they thought that she danced better. Thats their opinion and they are entitled to it. But this thread is literally saying that she should have stayed because she more well known and famous. Which is for the wrong reasons imo.

Its the same old story.

Crap dancer keeps getting through because
a) he has a sense of humour
b) he/she has a whole country backing him
