You just haveto get someone in who does the same. Plenty of presenters are great at whipping up the audience. It's not unique to Bruce by any means.

I hate that too and he is getting worse and worse at doing it too. Yesterday he pretty much interrupted Craig (I think it was) to tell the couple that he "completely disagreed" with what was being said. We don't care what you think! Let me hear what the judges have to say ffs!!!

Real pro from the sound of it.

She also said Bruno was a bit of an arse - arrogant and not talking to anyone until a camera was put on him.”

I would be very surprised if the camera and sound crews weren't ready. They have a whole crew of people in the control room telling them what to do. The main problem with Bruce is that he won't wear an ear piece so he has no idea what's going on and therefore might think things aren't going right because he can't hear the instructions being given to them. I suspect they all ignore him!

And the BBC have an extremely good warm up guy - Stuart - who under normal circumstances would be there geeing up the audience during the show, but God forbid he should be allowed to take any of Bruce's limelight. He certainly gets the audience going before Bruce appears.

I second this. For me the worst bit yesterday was when he kept going on about the kiss at the end of Ali and Brian's routine - "ooh a kiss, a real kiss, that was a real kiss that was". Shut up, you silly old man.
