Hi there.

Potentially going for an upgrade with 3, looking at the Jet. I don't really know that much about phones - is it worth the money? What exciting things can I do on it?

Also, the deal I've been offered is 300 mins, 300 3-3, unlimited texts and internet for £30 a month, is this any good?

Cheers.

Have a Jet myself and it takes some getting used to for me being a touchscreen. Overall though, it does pretty much everything I want it to... text, call, mobile web, camera is good quality and I now find the three "front" screens shall I say, works well as you can set them up with different widgets for quick access, so, I have Facebook, wifi, youtube on one, google on another and the third an easy way to set silent mode! I'm sure others can do better write ups of course, but I'm enjoying it two weeks in, even though, as I say, I'm still very much getting used to it. One drawback I find is the predictive text doesn't quite work how I'd like and recognising new words is a challenge sometimes.

As for the tariff, I'm sure there are better out there. Being with Virgin, I got the phone for free (would have been 60odd quid), 600 mins, "unlimited" texts (FUP at 3,000), "unlimited internet" (FUP at 1GB) as standard but then an extra 3,000 mins to other Virgin mobiles as an extra for £30/month.

The Samsung Jet is a good phone. It can even pass for an iPhone alternative. Touchscreen is sensitive and is really fast, AMOLED screen is superb, and has a pretty good camera. I've done a mini review here: http://www.cellphone-reviews.co.uk/2...00-review.html

The £30 a month tariff is a pretty standard deal across all networks if you want to get this phone for free.
