Most modern phones over £50 should handle all of what you require really.... Pretty standard features.

Depends on your budget really but the N95 8GB would do that.

I've recently bought a Samsung Tocco Litre, which has all of those. camera is 3.2mp. Costs are around £80 - £100 depending on which network you're with on PAYG, or you might get a free upgrade if you're on contract.

Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition is good. For £199 at CPW. Bargain considering everyone else is doing it for £300 odd.

Yep, pretty much all mobile phones have these capabilities. I suggest a touchscreen phone like the LG Cookie, Samsung Tocco Lite or Nokia 5530.

Thanks for all your help.
When it comes to iplayer, he doesn't want to stream programmes down his phone but he wants to be able to download the programmes onto a memory card and watch it on his phone that way. Do all the above phones allow you to do that? |

Certainly the Nokia N96 and N97 officially does offer that BBC iPlayer download functionality. Currently have the N97 myself and download stuff to it from iPlayer.
Not sure about other makes and models tho. |
