Keane

Congratulations to the fantastic Keane -going into the charts at Number 3 with their wonderful single 'Somewhere Only We Know'
Proves that genuine talent does make it eventually.
Hopefully 'This Is The Last Time' and 'Everybody's Changing' will now be rereleased as well, as they both deserve to be massive hits.

Must say I was amazed this song got to number 3 - they've done really well. I think Everybody's Changing is being re-released in April, but This Is The Last Time is my favourite - a fantastic song.

Yay! I saw 'em late last year and was knocked out by this odd looking 3 piece with no guitar!!!!
I was honestly expecting to hate them and came out ravin' about them...
Amen to the idea of re-releasing "Everybody's Changing" too,I reckon that'll go top 5 too!!
Oh what a wonderful world to one day be able to sound the death-knell for formula Pop Idol crud....killed by REAL music played by MUSICIANS!
Onward and upward for Keane I say!!! See 'em while they're still playing small venues, you understand what all the fuss was about.
Yay.

I like them but would like to see snow patrol do better than them.

I heard the song "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane on the radio a few weeks before it was released. I instantly knew that I had to buy the single, and I don't buy many cd singles these days as I would usually prefer to wait for the album. What a great song it is, songs like this make you realise there are a few decent British bands out there!

The first time I heard the song, the first few lines made me think it was Travis but once the song gets going, you know it isn't them and that this a new and up and coming group.

Can't wait for the release of their album later this month, just hope its as good as the single.

I like them as well. Their songs are catchy and the lead singer has a really good voice. You can download a great live version of "Everybody's Changing" at this site:

Well Done to Keane!!! A brilliant song that deserved to be no 1.
It is looking like good music is storming the charts.
The Darkness, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand and now Keane have all had very respectable chart positions in the last few months.
