I recently purchased a couple of Clarins items and the assistant said she put a couple of sample items in the bag. One was the above. It was only a tiny amount and didn't have instructions only to put over moisturiser. I did this and I thought it made my face feel velvety. Anyone use this? what does it do in the long run?

It is a great product. Depends on your age of course if you are young it probably won't make much difference. If you are over 30 it will make you look more youthful.

The effects are temporary though.

It does make the skin look more youthfull, makeup lasts longer and foundation will go on smoother.

Don't rub it in though, just apply a thin application and leave, gorgeous stuff, I think everyone should wear it everyday the effects are great, its my all-time fave product!

Another fan of it here. They do one specifically for the eye area and its great for hang over days - you can see a huge difference as soon as its applied.

I dont wear much make-up but I know a few friends use it as a foundation under a mineral bisque powder.

This and the morning energising cream are must have items IMO.

I was also going to make the point about it being good for 'the morning after'. It can make it look like you've had a good night's sleep when you haven't.

What sort of age group is it aimed at? I saw over 30 mentioned above.

I don't think it is aimed at any particular age group but if you are still in your twenties you probably don't need it, unless you have prematurely aged skin.

It has a slightly tightening effect which is beneficial if you are a bit older and gives you a youthful glow.

It creates a tighening, youthful effect. Instructions say you can wear alone as a moisturiser or under make up, although you need to put your foundation on straight away or it can go patchy. I love it, but save it for weekends or special occasions!

I'm in my early twenties, and I still use it. Gives that glow to any skin IMO, fab stuff

Don't pay full price for it in Boots or wherever though. Check out www.feelunique.com - they have the whole Clarins range on there, and deliver in a day or two.

I use this stuff and would not be without it. It is superb. Department stores have it on offer sometimes or as part of a deal - that's when I treat myself!
