Anyone else given his new album a listen yet? I'm addicted to most of the tracks already! Arguably not as good as Life in Cartoon Motion but it still feels like a progression from that. It's equally as versatile too. 4/5

It has some good bits but it gets a bit much after a while. Reviewed it on the blog.

I got it yesterday and I love it so far. Blue eyes is my fav atm! Dr John also. I hope Rain is released as a single, awesome track. I see you - beautiful song and Touches you is great also, that should have been the first single i think.

The rest i think will grow on me! LOL it has been only a day

My sister is a massive fan: she's what I call a 'big player' on the mika fan club. She's dragged me to a couple of concerts, so I'm a fam by default!

He had a free concert yesterday, something to do with an ice cream van which she wet her knickers over. She loved it. Yes the album is fantastico, a lot better than the songs for sorrow ep which I thought was a bit depressing for someone so hyper as Mika.

Sounds alright, but due to his anti-filesharing stance I won't be buying his CD or supporting him until he sees the light and stops being a puppet to innovation-blockers.

A few friends like Mika, who of course downloaded his album in advance, but will now not be buying a hard copy.

I hear it will debut in the top 5. Which is a bit is a bit low compared to his first album. I have a feeling he won't see much success with this album. I predicted this months ago.

I feel Mika was big for that one year only. The hype is so over and he isn't as lovable and likeable anymore.

I like it but its just the same as the first album really. I thought he would have progressed a little but still a good album.

That's what I thought. Even the album cover is similar to the first.
I still like it though.

I thought that 'Blame It On The Girls' was the next single? I'm not keen on either song to be honest.

well Life In Cartoon Motion was always going to be hard to follow, with over 6 million sales worldwide, a million in the uk alone, 4 uk top 10 singles and one of the biggest pop songs of the last few years in Grace Kelly.

i know it's still very early days for the new album! but it was always going to be hard for Mika to repeat that sort of success, especially with his style, but the new album's chances of success depend a lot on how well future singles fare.

i can't comment on the album as a whole because i don't have it yet, but i have heard a few of the songs, and they sounded nice, but not as strong as many of the songs on the first album. sure, i can't see it being as massively successful as his debut but if he continues making nice colourful pop tunes he should sustain a reasonable amount of success. and he's different in many ways to most pop singers around today so he has that going for him too.

I thought that 'Blame It On The Girls' was the next single? I'm not keen on either song to be honest.
maybe, i dunno for sure, just that when Radio 1 played some new album releases yesterday afternoon, they played I See You and Greg James said it was the next single.

As a massive fan of his I'm happy with what he's delivered, it isn't necessarily measured in terms of commercial success

I think 'Touches You' and 'Blame it on the Girls' are the best (after 'We Are Golden' which I might've exposed myself to a little too much...)

It might be in terms of commercial success to you, but in actual fact it really is.

I see that Mika has "come-out" as bisexual. Well we never expected that did we?
Glad he's got as new album out though.

Well, I'm surprised he's interested in women at all myself

i wouldn't of been surprised either way. i could always see him liking both, but it's hard to tell with him because of his sort of unusual personality - i don't mean that in a bad way though.
