T Mobile in Bootle/Aintree/Sefton, Liverpool
Wondering if anyone living in or visiting the following area can help me with problems I'm having with the cell site on top of the old Giro (Now Alliance and Leicester) Building on Bridle Road?
When either making or receiving calls, I get a chopping effect, sometimes losing whole words, but mainly just part of them. The other person can hear me perfectly well though. I have spoken to T Mobile since the start of my contract with them in June, and even after having an engineer visit the mast/cell (allegedly), I'm still having problems. I have a friend who used to use the same cell site as his home cell on Virgin, who piggyback Tmobile, but he has cancelled his contract and gone to O2 purely because of the problem at home, so it has been happening for a while. If anyone else has been suffering with the same problem, please will you reply or PM. If you are visiting the area, it is the road that runs off the M58/M57 (Switch Island) and runs directly down to Bootle Docks (A5036), this passes the Giro centre, I have placed a link to show the site of the cell that is at fault. I have had my phone checked by an independent, reputable service centre, it all checks out fine, I do have the same fault on a T Mobile PAYG phone, the problem disappears when I move away from the cell site. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X...5517&ay=397795 Thanks in advance for any replies or help offered.
