Are three telling me lies again
My contract details (18 month contract starting on 21st March 2008)
I originally rang up on the 24th of August giving the 30 days notice i am supposed to give (got my dates wrong and missed it by three days) The guy said on the other phone that my final bill will be in October and i won't get charged in September. Looking at September bank statement i was charged £27.65 on the 10th. Today i rang up three asking when my final bill was again. They said my final bill would be charged on the 15th of October. I asked them for my P.A.C number, they said if they gave that to me it would require another 30 days notice? It that bit a lie? What happens if I don't get a final bill next month and they charge as normal? Should i cancel my DD then? |

From my reckoning your contract should have ended 21 Sept.
Obviously 3 would not know what calls etc. you made upto that date. So the bill you got should have been for any usage upto 21 Sept. I'm not sure about 30 days notice after asking for a PAC number. The PAC number is 'valid' for 30 days after asking for it. Get your PAC number and if you're moving supplier give it to them at the time of ordering. That should automatically generate a final bill from 3 when the transfer is complete. PS. I've been with 3 for years. Only in the beggining did I get problems but now they're up there with the rest. What's your reason for moving? |
