I was struggling with Amelle in the band in the first place - the band never quite felt right for me and didn't gel in the way they did with the Siobhan/Heidi changeover. The singles haven't been anywhere near as catchy for me with the v3 lineup and the last album was a shocker.

To say Amelle is now the voice of the band is complete bollocks and will backfire on the group and management very quickly. Maybe it's better for Keisha that she's gone now before the whole thing goes tits up.

They should have gotten rid of Amelle.

Sugababes won't be the sugababes without Keisha.

Wouldn't it be brilliant if Cheryl became a big solo star, left Girls Aloud....and was replaced by Keisha!!!

How funny if Siobhan, Kiesha and Mutya all formed their own band now! LOL!”

Thats what I said, how good would that be. M seems to be up for it, so why not get Siobhan and start again, sign them up to a different label, it would be very interesting.

Wow, can't get over this one! I thought they'd made a name mistake on the 'Breaking News' banner, but no, it's actually Keisha! Didn't see that coming for one second tbfh

The new Sugababes have got an absolute mountain to climb now to have any chance of lasting. If the album is still released on its due date and they are out and about promoting it then the interviews will be very interesting unless their management dictate to the media what can and can't be talked about, and if they go down that route then the print media will tear into the band big style..........the music is going to be very much secondary to this storm for a long time to come imo.

And that's without Keisha having her say as she surely will unless it's a condition of her staying with the record company that she doesn't rock the boat too much, although reading those twitters she has posted it doesn't look as though she will hold her feelings for too long before she drops a bucketload on the management and the band.

I'd hate to be a Sugababe right at this moment

Not even that but even four years after Mutya left, the band are still asked about her! How is it going to be now!

Especially with keisha having the power of twitter! it is going to get nasty!!!

Took the words straight from my keyboard.

Done and dusted. They won't last now. Big mistake IMO.

I may be in the minority here, but I like Keisha =/. I think that the media have always tried to paint her as "the bitch", but I doubt she's as horrible as people like to make out. She's been part of the band since she was really young, so this must be really upsetting for her. I don't mind Jade Ewen, but she doesn't seem like a "group" artist to me...she's got a distinctive, powerful vocal that I think won't blend very well. We'll see what happens, but I don't think this new line up will work.

Danwootton isn't being very objective is he.

It says a lot though that heidi must have wanted Amelle in the band more that Keisha!!

At least that explains the quote about the support she's had from the record label. As much as I wish this won't be the case, I unfortunately don't see much of career as a soloist ahead of her. IMO Mutya was always the better live singer and if she couldn't make it then I don't think Keisha will either. I don't think we'll hear the full story about what's happened until she's no longer with Island Records - there's just too much at risk otherwise.

I do wish her all the best though, I think her treatment has been appalling.

Sugababes are done now. There's nothing left of the Sugababes - it's just three talentless girls gyrating in their underwear.

I dont think the sugababes will be as good as they always been!! It could be the end of them!
Theres no original member now..so should they really be called the sugababes?? They arent the people who formed the band and chose the band name!

i'm shocked, didn't think they would have got rid of Keisha.

not a big fan of the sugababes but like Jade so i'm looking forward to seeing what happens the band now

Blah.

There goes the last interesting member of the group. I only ever liked them for Keisha and Mutya's voices, and now that both of them are gone there's nothing/nobody left that I'm bothered about.

Actually, Mutya and Keisha should join up as a twosome - problem solved.

pfft, according to Wikipedia the band name originates from Keisha's childhood nickname "Sugar baby".

It's hardly the Sugababes anymore without a single original member.

Yeah that is telling. Keisha doesn't even follow Heidi and Amelle on twitter. I don't know why people are so upset about Keisha going. She was obviously a major problem if they have been forced to drop her.

It's actually really wrong that Keisha has been kicked out (assuming that's true, of course!).

She is the only remaining original member. She has been in that band for years, she has written songs for them as well as singing and generally just put a lot of effort and everything into the band. That much is obvious to me, and I don't even 'follow' the Sugababes much!

If Heidi and Amelle (and the management) want Jade instead, they should leave the group and let Keisha find some new members or whatever. It isn't fair for them to kick her out of the group SHE formed in favour of three replacements!

(To be honest, the only one of the V. 03 Sugababes I really liked was Heidi, but that is beside the point!)

Yeah, apparently somethings going on with the name- they might need to change it.

Jade is far from talentless.

You get a gang of 3 chavs together and when one leaves you replace her with another chav, you can't expect it to continue for long. If they continue with their success then I daresay in a few years one of them will leave and another chav will replace her.

I agree with this 100%. I just don't see Keisha as a solo artist. If she was so inclined then surely she'd have made a move by now. I feel very sorry for her and I've no doubt she'll be devastated at being forced out of the band.

ridiculous

I hope noone buys another Sugababes record as it'll just be a cheap cash in on the name

we all sneered at Simon Fullers attempt of creating a 'S Club' brand, but thats exactly what we have got now, a band that just changes its members every few years.
