Iphone Calendar query
I have read that it is possible to sync my calendar on iphone through itunes to yahoo. I have followed instructions on yahoo on how to set it up but when I came to sync the phone it has not copied over my appointments to yahoo.
Does anyone else sync their calendar with yahoo and iphone and can help me. Thanks |

A quick Google returns:

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars on the iPhone
Tap the ‘Add Account…’ button
Tap Other > Add CalDAV Account
For Server, type “yahoo” (without the quotes) — this will be automatically converted to caldav.calendar.yahoo.com
For User Name and Password, enter your Yahoo account login details
Tap Next and the iPhone will confirm the settings — tap Save to finish
Go to the iPhone calendar application to trigger the first sync.
Not sure if it works as I don't have a yahoo calendar in order to try it. |

Hi
Thanks for this. I have followed all these steps. My stumbling block is the last point about triggering the first sync, I am very confused. If anyone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks |

It doesnt though thats why Im confused. Am I supposed to have a particular application installed or something like that? When I go into calendars there is a calendar showing from pc which has all my appts in and a yahoo calendar with no appointments in.
I'm unsure why it isn't working for you though, I sync with my MobileMe calendar with no issues at all. |

No you don't need any third party applications, only the built-in calendar app is required.

I am inputting my appointments into the iphone calendar - should I be putting them in Yahoo instead and then they sync over to my iphone. Im totally confused
